Karen, I'm so glad to hear that your adventure has started well! I now have a great image of your car trip that kind of resembles those arcade games where people jump out from behind obstacles and you have to figure out whether they're enemies or innocent bystanders. Why couldn't you stay the night at Upper Hill? And what is matatus? Anyway, there's nothing really going on here for you to stay in touch with! I'm just being boring in Brantford. I'm glad that your accident wasn't serious & hope you're having lots of fun!
I'm so glad to hear that you made it there safe and sound and are having a god time so far. It sounds like you're having some excellent adventures already!
Everything is fine here. I started my training yesterday. It was ok, but not too exciting.... The cats are fine. Zoey is fatter than when I left, and I'm giving Morgead lot of hugs. They say "Oy, Karen-MEOOoOoOoOW!". I think it means "We're having fun here, but we'll be mad if you meet some lions and decide to love them best. Perhaps we should chow down like monster-beasties and then we can grow in to large kitties too!". They have been eating a LOT of cat food. Tomorrow I'm going to chase them around for some exercise!
This is so fascinating for me since the farthest I've ever travelled is Florida ^^; Keep the stories coming! I can't wait to hear what else you experience!
OMGz!!! Your in Nairobi. Freakin amazing!! From my experience North America seems to have strictly controlled and safe driving laws people abide by. Most drivers in Europe, especially Italy, drove very irresponsibly and out of control. Also, be careful of thieves and pickpockets. You have an amazing adventure ahead of you! Miss you muchly and continue sharing with us your daily experiences :)
