Just a quick update...
Things are going pretty well. I actually went to aikido twice last weekend, and wasn't nearly as sore as I was the other times. Yay, it's great to be getting back into it, I was getting grouchy without it I think.
Rachel's folks are coming to visit this weekend, and I took Monday and Tuesday off, the first time I've taken off really since the surgery, so that's all good. Her brother's not coming with them though, so that's a bummer. Can't have everything I guess.
I can't remember if I mention this in an earlier entry, and I'm too lazy to go check, but my employer, Bank One, has been acquired and subsumed into JP Morgan Chase. So, we when from being a really big bank to a huge financial institution. Not much shake up in my little corner of things, which is good, though my job might be becoming less technically hands on, which would be pretty sucky. But, I have some outs within JPMC too, so it's not too dire.
My motivation has been pretty up and down as a result though, both at work and home.
Well, I'm off to have a four day weekend. Go me!
