Are going to be something I can only see from a far before I learn the French Food names and not make the waiters laugh with my awkward French. Picking up food vocab is slightly easier compared to learning all of the language. Besides, it helps that I love food. No matter if it's French or Japanese. Each of these have their unique selling point. I find more Japanese sweets that are more 淡泊 than 甘い, and there's probably more exquisite French food than simple ones.
Foie gras is mostly imported by France. In a year alone, this country can ship up to ten thousand tonnes of this delicacy. It's actually the enlarged liver of a duck, caused by force feeding 'gavage' style. The horror when I see that people actually force feed something as a torture.
