Hi guys,
I had quite a few questions about smexy (porny-smutty-erotica-etc) writings and what works best or what people prefer to read, write etc but after reading some sites and consulting with fellow fan-friends the list of Qs is almost done.
I would still like to know what are people's preferences when it comes to QAF fics that have sex scenes and

I always felt that writers tend to write sex scenes that they are comfortable with and with the style of writing that their work is already completed in will reflect that so it feels like a natural progression instead of being two different styles clashing together.
I've noticed that some authors will write very graphic sex scenes while others hint more at sex than full on graphic detail. Each style works with those authors and each story is enjoying on my end.
The part I hate is when an author tells me that there's plot to be had when it's really just one massive multi-chapter PWP. At least be honest with yourself, writing lots of sex scenes if fine, but don't tell me that there's serious business going on as well when clearly there isn't. ;)
I'm the first person to admit to readers that something is clearly PWP though I don't write many of those these days.

Yeah, sometimes it just seems more natural for just a hint of it instead of the whole *romp*.
Maybe some writers think it's plot cuz Brian seems to think sex is the entire plot of his existence -- besides work and Gucci, lolsy.

Hmm, I am no shrink or psychologist but I guess in a way Brian is fucking not only for the sake of fucking itself but to 'say' to the rest of the world (mostly his parents and society, even the LGBT community) to fuck off of his case with telling him who and what to be/fuck and what is moral/acceptable blah blah blah. But to actually go and make an entire book out of Brian's tricking doesn't strike me as 'making Brian's statment obvious or a life-changing epiphany while in somebody's ass'. AHEM.
Oh My BDSM, that is hillarious!!! Transcribing actual porn. FACEPALM.
Pets you. The fandom's ways are mysterious indeed.

Something that always struck me as interesting in the show that despite Brian's remarks against relationships he seemed to be the one that most members of the 'gang' ran to when they had issues and many times had solid advice to offer then. (Maybe not always put in the most 'kind' way, but majority of the time he offered reasonable solutions to their problems.)
And yet, 'he' didn't know what he was doing. ;)

Oh, I used to stomp my foot like a baby when I'd see Mel and/or Linds preching to him...AHEM...hellouuuu, they both cheated/lied etc to eachother how many times? Always some issues with their 'commitment' and he always somehow helped even if it was done in a 'flippant' way.
