I love the shoulder biting scene. I also love the idea that not everything between Michael and Brian is smoothed over. Although I think Michael's stance on Brian's "temporary insanity" was slightly harsh. Michael can be oblivious at times, but he always manages to finally come around. Look forward to reading part 3.

The main issue I took was about Mikey's utter blankness regarding Brian's feelings for his son, as was so clearly apparent in canon 512. And of Mel's bitterness towards Brian, also evidenced in canon 512. One thing led to another and the next thing I knew I was writing Mikey talking about B/J. Perhaps, I did take an extreme look at it but honestly speaking, there are times when these people can be very very blind towards Brian ( ... )

I knew there was a reason that I didn't like Michael. What I'm loving is the new relationship that Brian and Justin have, one where they are more equal than they've ever been. And reading about the restoration projects are awesome. I could totally see Justin doing this; it feeds into his 'civic duty' fetish.

Yep, I thought Justin's work with the murals and the progress he makes with Brian as a partner... were meant to go together. I am so glad you enjoyed this. :)

Thanks! :) I haven't done a lot of QAF stuff. But you can find the few B/J stories I've written in various places, including my f-locked journal. If you wanna read them, you could friend me, and I would friend you back so that you can read them. :)

And here I thought you meant Garland. :D

Oh, it pleases me so much that you think I did justice to Justin's voice. Yep, I am a Brian girl but I adore Justin too.

Thank you for the amazing review. I love it to pieces! Glad you thought the issues were handled believably in the story. I appreciate all your comments! :X

I believe sometimes you need distance to develop perspective about things that are laid out right before you. I believe being away from Brian would make Justin think about all the ways Brian had showed his commitment and all the ways Justin had misunderstood in the past. I also believe misunderstanding Brian's reasons for keeping those momentos from their past could cause Justin unwarranted grief. That's my take on it.

I am glad you enjoyed reading. :)
