Well... this is my last entry for at least a week, since today (in 4 hours) we are hopping in the car and leaving to go to PC.
I have been waiting for this for a long time... I love the beach, I love hanging out with friends, and I love 311... all my loves rolled into one, it can't go wrong.
Although! well I should be at a hundred in my happy-meter, but I have to admit I'm a little bummed because the trip as it stands now has gone through many mutations that distorted my original "perfect trip" idea.
I guess the main factor is the friends factor, everyone who is going is great... but there are several people that were supposed to go that have (for various reasons) pulled out.
Ramiro's spring break is not until next week so he'll only be joining us for the last 4 days, Kris' mom is sick so he needs to stay to take care of her, Tabitha made some promise to one of her friends that she would go to spring break with him this year... and the final blow to my morale was delivered about 3 hours ago when maloof called to tell me (or rather, he called lori) that he probably won't go because he has been very sick... and I feel for him because that same thing happened during his Christmas break, and he's a really good character, I really hope he feels better...
Anyhow, I shouldn't complain because this is going to be a great trip and I should be greatful that I have the opportunity to go.... but I just needed to vent...
Now I need to get back to my packing (last minute as usual)...
