oh yes!!!!!!
I don't even know how to start this entry... just wow.. wow... in case you did not know today, March 6th (I know it's the 7th already) 2004, was the last night of the meteora world tour featuring story of the year, hoobastank, pod, and linkin park. And it is a date that will live in my memory for a looonng long long time to come...
If you are lazy you can skip this mini-review of the concert and go straight to the 6th Paragraph to find out what absolutely rocked my face off!!!...

Story of the Year, needless to say rocked the house. If the extremely hyperactive lead singer wasn't enough to pump me up, the guitarist could sure do the trick... this kid was doing dropkicks and swinging his guitar around his neck like he wrote the book on it... "until the day i die," their current single was about the 3rd song they played, and since I have not yet completely familirized myself with their cd yet i thought that it wouldn't be as enjoyable, but then they covered "enter sandman"... wow.... had a lot of fun with them...

Then Hoobastank took the stage, I've had previous awesome experiences with them live, and a lot of their songs hold alot of meaning in my life so I was a little dissapointed they got a shorter set than POD... but they sure made the absolute best of it, even covering "girls just wanna have fun"...

During the hoobastank set, dustin and i joined the crazyness of the pit and we lost each other in the crowd. Slowly I made my way even closer to the stage than we already were and i was at a really good spot when they finished.

Afterwards POD took the stage (they had some really cool props on stage) and as I have stated before I wasn't too excited about them.... then IT HAPPENED!!!!!

their third song was "boom" and sonny (their lead singer) climbed the barricade right next to me, and i was happy just holding him up and taking pictures of teh guy (does that sound too gay?) but right after i put my camera back in my pocket, the last chorus came on, and as i was singing my little bolivian heart out, sonny noticed me and put the microphone to my mouth!!!
THATS RIGHT!! I SANG THE CHORUS!!! so if any of you were there and wondered "wow, sonny is starting to sound like a girl" you are wrong my friends it was me!!!! hahahaha... that is definitely my most memorable concert experience... I think that means more to me than just catching a drumstick or a pick….

After that I was on a musical/natural high and rocked out the rest of their set….
And then LINKIN PARK!!! They were definitely one of the best bands I have seen live, and it was just so cool because it was my first time seeing them… wow… that’s all I have to say about that… Every song from start to finish was absolutely incredible and flawless, the setlist was very very cool and they included my favorite song: Points of Authority… I could literally feel the energy in that place lifting me off my feet the entire time, I thoroughly enjoyed the “pranks” that the other bands pulled on them, and it was very cool to see every member of every band on stage… but for me the best part of the night… (well… 2nd best, read: POD) was shouting SHUT UP WHEN I’M TALKING TO YOU!!! At the top of my lungs when they closed with “one step closer,” I felt so many emotions during those brief 10-15 seconds of that song… I released a lot of pent up anger, I was excited that I finally got to be so close and rock out with the LP boyz, I just felt this rush of energy move through my body… it was amazing… I’m still trying to soak it all in…..

All in all it was an amazing, rocking, and fun show and I got lots pictures (over 80 of them) and some video as well… incredible…
Now it’s time to go to the BEACH!!!!!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
I’m so stoked! First Panama City Beach then another amazing concert… then more beach… wow... yes... wow...
