Special Day!!
I cannot believe that tomorrow I turn 21!!
I can drink legally and not just in Germany....
But that's not all that is going on in my life, although I feel like it is most of it.
Last weekend I went to a Frisbee Tournament and we fucking Rocked it!!
We had like 5 freshman who had never, ever played a game of Ultimate before in their lives and then we had 6 of us who were seasoned "veterans" but that's only 11 girls... We managed to go 3-3, and made some good competition against some very good teams, including Stanford!
I personally had like the best game of my life against OSU on Sunday morning, I managed to catch a long throw (huck) and throw to someone in the endzone for a point, plus I scored three whole points on my own... It felt really good and I would never have been able to do that without such a great and enthusiastic team. Not a single person is negative and everyone just really wants to play for themselves. I am super-stoked for the Frisbee year.
Along with that, there is always school, which after Germany and such a lackluster academic challenge there, I really relish the academic challenge, ever if it does stress me out sometimes.
Socially, things are good, I feel like I never see some of my really good friends anymore, but that's how it goes when you don't share a dorm or a dining room anymore. I really have nothing else going on. Basically school and Frisbee... sometimes I am SOO lame. but at least I am happy...
