München - Week One

Oh Wow -
How could I ever explain to all y'all what this is like. Haha, well i can't and I am not going to try, okay maybe a little
I arrived here at like 8 o'clock at night after the 26 hour trip, which is longer than it takes to get to Africa but whatever. I went to my hotel with the wonderful Lenka, who is some person who will help us with problems we have in munich?
The First day i wandered around the area right near my hotel and bought some shampoo and other basics. Got some lunch of fruit, bread and cheese which I will subsist on for the year simply because I am lazy and it tastes really freaking good. I got tired really fast just like they said I would. I think my brain is like an overheating computer here. They keep speaking german to me and I keep trying to speak german.

Anywyas the second day I met up with people so the program person could take those of us who are around to the bank. We spent the day together and went to the biergarten!! for lunch. I am a little worried about what i ate.. I am still trying to remember what Weiss-Wurst are made of... it's basically a white meat hot dog but I think the meat is some type of brains? i don't think about it to hard, it tasted good with the cheap beer. That afternoon we moved into our dorms!!

The dorm is pretty big for a single room, for those from L&C it's like just a little smaller than a double in Forest. Pretty freaking sweet. My sheets are HOT pink, ugghhh... I will deal, it's the only colorful thing in the room right now. There is nothing on the walls and I am hoping to go to the flea market tomorrow and possibly get some old german warfare memoribiliaa, I could have the first ever Luftwaffe decorated room and make it really cool with some iron crosses or not.

Oh other cool thing, I got stung by a bee on the second day and now my hand looks like I gained a couple pounds just there. I never want to be really fat just by seeing that, plus I can't bend my pinky. I hope that this all works out on its own...

Ummm what else?
So far the rest of the kids that have arrived are pretty cool.. Jeffrey is sometimes a little hard to handle but he has Asbergers so i mean it's not like he isn't trying, he just can't read social cues.
Classes start on tuesday and I am sure that I will be posting more sometime soon!
