Very few days have passed since I boldly claimed that I'd never be returning to the East Coast during winter ever again, and yet in a few minutes I'll be buying a ticket to go to frozen Appalachia at the end of February.

But I think I can forgive myself for the change of heart, considering I'll be going there for my orientation to midwifery school.
