「078;」
ok so my friends and i have been planning a senior prank for a while. basically we have a rock in the center of our campus which is kind of symbolic and stuff, so we decided to turn the rock into something (originally a duck, then a whale, then a strawberry). the first time we tried to do it we ran out of duct tape and everyone basically gave up except for me (WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM) except i'm also a huge procrastinator so i put it off until tonight (the night before the last day of school). i'd almost forgotten about it, and by the time i remembered at 10:00 nobody else was interested in helping me other than ross, who couldn't make it because he had a flat tire. but i was like I'M GOING TO DO THIS ANYWAY and convinced my parents to help out. changed ideas for a while because a strawberry was too complicated, so in the end we decided to surround the rock with a giant present box and put a stuffed bunny inside holding a heart. making that all took a while but eventually we set off for school at around 12:30.
on the way there i was like "hmm tomorrow's the last day of school so there might be other people trying to do something and that would be awkward" so i decided to run down and check the campus before my dad got any of the stuff out. when i got there i heard voices coming from around the rock area and i smelled spray paint so i was like "oh shit there are people there, this sucks." i didn't want them to see me so i didn't get a look at who they were (wish i had). i turned around to go tell my dad and then i saw police car lights flashing and there were two police cars around my dad's car and i'm like "WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK" so i go up and they're all "so what were you doing down there?" "uhhh i was going to make a present" "what kind of present?" "uhhh a cardboard present with a bunny inside holding a heart that says edgemont" "... ok that's fine, just don't do it tonight since we got a burglar alarm and you don't want to get involved in whatever's going on down there"
at one point a car started pulling up and then immediately turned around and one of the two cops was like "brb chasing that car" and then he ran away and chased the car. i had to give them my name and my dad showed them what was in the car and it was pretty intense and stuff. it was kind of amusing, though it also sucked because now i can't do my prank. :| i'll probably do it for finals or graduation or something, but it's just not as epic. but AT LEAST IT WAS A FUN EXPERIENCE FFFFF lol cops
i also have a giant backlog of journal entries (like A WEEK AND A HALF?) which i should probably post soon skjldfhaksdj
