home for the holidays
My little sister is sick. She is spreading it to everyone in the house. My mom is sick, and I'm sure I have a touch of a cold. That never stops me, but my dad is the only one not sick, and when he gets it, he gets very sick. So last night, he went in and annoyed my little sister, so she came chasing him into the living room with her germs. It was hilarious. My dad started hitting her with a magazine, and spraying lysol at her. Another entertaining evening at the Smrecak household. You laugh, but after about 6 or 7 hours of work on my thesis yesterday, it was a wonderfully funny event.
Better news. Drew got me a neat pendant thing from meteor crater, and it is awesome, and I enjoy it stupendously. The best part, though, is the fact that it looks awesome on the necklace Rebecca got me as a going to college present. I'm sure you've all seen it. It's the one with the two people having sex, and you can see the boobs and penis, etc. She got it for me as a "good luck charm," and I find it ironic that that's where I'll be wearing the pendant. Anyway, I called Peke last night to tell her that her gift had finally paid off, and we found it hilarious, so if you don't, I don't really care.
I'm at my dad's work backing up my computer, Jimmy, who has decided to be defunct again. My Dad and a different guru of his think that its the power cord this time. I told them that that didn't fix it the first time, but no one listens to me. Rightly so, I'm a bit of an idiot, but I do know what my computer does and does not do.
Must go, Dad needs his computer back and I have to finish the whole backing up Jimmy again process.
