Eureka!
Finally, all is understood. I know, I comprehend. I have finally decided what I want to do with my life. Well... that is to say... I have narrowed it down. I will either become a high school English teacher, or I will direct and/or produce movies. Now I think I've talked about the teaching thing before, but about the movies? What can I say? I love movies. Thats all there is to it. I love watching them, I love analyzing them, I love watching them again. There aren't many movies I WON'T watch, actually. I love movies and theater almost as much as I love literature.
I appreciate the goofy, quirky movies (Rocky Horror Picture Show, Flash Gordon) and (sometimes) the mindless action flicks just as much as I enjoy truly deep, insightful movies (Citizen Kane, Apocalypse Now). Then, there are the movies like Pulp Fiction that turn the industry upside down. I would just love to make movies myself. It would just about be the bee's knees, the cat's meow, if you will. I especially love the movies that have cult followings, like the worst movie of all time, Plan 9 From Outer Space. I could go on about THAT classic for hours.
Anyway, I need to wrap things up.
