All of you are slacking off on me, particularly those of you who know how much I love Tanya Huff's books. Why on EARTH did no one tell me there's a Blood Ties TV series now!? It's on Lifetime, yeah (ick), but dammit, people, don't let me down here! I need my cheesy supernatural shows!
Unfortunately it appears they've been scheduling it at the same time as The Dresden Files, which surprisingly enough I've been watching religiously. But now that Dresden's season is over, I'm going to have to check Blood Ties out. Granted, I only read the first book, but that's only because I have a huge backlog of books as it is. W00t for campy vampire stories! And sure, I don't have cable, but that's what having a boyfriend is for. ;)
Speaking of Dresden, anyone else watching this show? It's so very different from the books, but I actually like it more than the novels because of that. I really like TV!Murphy, and her relationship with Harry, and their portrayal of Bob worked out well. I'm so afraid of the skullfucking fic though. You know it's gotta be out there. *shudder* This is why fangirls are scary.
