Like hearding lolcats
I would KILL for a day off. Seriously. Since Tuesday I have been putting in 8+ hour days that consisted of me having to sit in front of a room of strangers and train them on what they have to do for the census. the room I was in was HUGE so I had to to all but yell to be heard. My voice is raw. Yesterday was 10 hours and me driving 100 miles in a giant circle just to get my shit done. And I had hoped that today was going to be a day off but noooooo I have to meet with one of my enumerators at 3 and with my boss at 4:30 (that I just found out about!).
I know I'm getting paid for it, I know it's infinitely better than not having a pay check at all, but seriously! Let me have a day to myself! *dies*
In other news, I'm making slow progress in FFXIII. Very slow. I'm only at about 19 hours played. Between work, Making sure I get the propper face time in WoW (yay demanding RP buddies <3), and just being too damn tired to think I've not had much time. I can say this so far:
-I love Yaag. Not just because he's hot and looks like the love child of Sephiroth and Seifer. I honestly think he is the only character in the game, any of them really, who has common sense. My love for him was cemented in the scene where he tells Snow that while the Pulse l'cie might be trying to save cocoon, the people of cocoon didn't want to see it that way. The life of one l'cie was NOT more important than the lives of millions of citizens. I swear he's the first character to understand that what the main characters do effects the lives of the nameless background noise characters.
-I would have Fang's babies.
-Cid. He reminds me of Lazard. And I don't entirely know why. And because of that it confuses me that I don't really like him.
-Jihl. Oh Hai evil Quistis!
