Update on life things
~ I started my job at the Census yesterday. We're just training right now but it seems like it'll be a fun enough job. Lots of paper work. Luckily I won't be having to do much, if any, of the door to door stuff.
~ Got part of my tax refund the other day so I decided to go and finally get a PS3. I feel...complete again. I've had to ignore console games for years since I didn't have a current gen system and it drove me crazy. I grew up playing NES, SNES, N64, and Playstation 2. A Gameboy (even as far back as the old tan brick) was my constant companion in the car. To be confined to PC games for so long was... wrong.
~Started playing FFXIII last night. So far it's a pretty good movie! I've been told it gets a bit more intense later on but right now it's just me hitting one button and moving my characters where I need them to go.
It's not much different than how my game was late FFXII when I had my gambits maxed out and had them set just-so. I'd send Basch where he needed to go and Balthier and Fran would take care of the rest. Beautiful system.
