Keepin' it tribal.

Brief real-life update: Musical is going amazingly well; 2 performances down and 2 to go and we have gotten rave reviews so far. 8D Here's to hoping we can rack up some serious Tommy Tune (HS version of the Tony awards) nominations this year.

Had an unexpected "day off" today. Basically, I was so worn out, my body decided to completely crash on me, fever and all, so instead of spending the entire day before tonight's show volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, mom made me stay home and rest up. Meaning, of course, that I have spent an entire day being as completely unproductive as possible. Instead of working on bleach_exchange fic (I'm sorry, Ishida, but I really want you to die~ *stab*), for example, I made a huge batch of Suikoden otp_banners. >_>; Way to go, Piru.

Am ridiculously procrastinating on the CDs, too. So, uhh, I'll *try* to mail them so they get there in time for V-day, but no guarantees. >_>; Sorry, but I just haven't been in a very Valentinesy mood lately (hopefully understandably).

In other news, dad deep-cleaned my Suiko3 disc and says that it should work now. I haven't yet gone to his house to pick it up and try it out (I'll probably wait until Something Happened in Bali comes in, so I can kill two birds with one stone), but I have high hopes. Once the musical is over and done with, I intend to throw myself into the Suikoden fandom more passionately than ever. First I will restart Suiko3 AGAIN (because in my infinite stupidity and insistence on not using a walkthrough, which is a fairly stupid thing to do in the Suikoden games, I have already screwed up my ability to get all 108 stars) and finish it this time, and then finish Rhapsodia, and then replay Suiko1 because I am getting ridiculously fuzzy on the details. Mmmmmyes.

I really wish I had RL friends who are Suikoden fans. This lack of people to fangirl with makes me sad. Hell, I lack a lot of Suikoden fan friends even online. karthur is pretty much the only one who knows what I'm talking about when I *squee* and wibble incoherently about Albert. ;~; *shakes fist at flist* You guys need to play the games, yo~!

Haha, the other day my friend Deborah and I were eating lunch in the Newspaper room as usual, and I was feeling particularly downish about the breakup thing that day, and was trying to cheer myself up by drawing fanart sketches of Albert, and Alex and the others of course had no idea who he was or why I was drawing him. >_>; Also they kept making fun of him saying that he looks like a woman. ;~; I cannot help it if my fanart skillz suck, psssh.

Hmm, what else. February means that my cosplay costume should be done by the end of the month. Exciting. Also, I forgot to mention but a little while back, Danny, this kid I volunteered with and befriended at Oni-Con, finally IMed me. He's invited me to accompany him to the Japan Society Festival in April. Am pretty freaking excited about that. I'm probably meeting up with Jesse from Shiokazecon again sometime this coming week or the week after. Not sure what about, but I'm excited about it nonetheless. I'm eager to get started on my staff head duties. *dances*

Lastly, to end things on a Bleach note. Heehee, I'm loving how the IchiRuki fans are reacting to the latest developments. While I am not big on Ichigo/Orihime myself, at least that would leave Rukia for Renji, SO. I can't much complain. XD;;
