On the Road

Nov 30, 2007 13:08

As soon as I can get my "hit by a truck" self moving again.

It's been at least 10 years since I've gotten food poisoning from one of the fast food establishments around here, so I guess my number came up last night. Oh boy, did it ever. Pretty much all night long. Today I was able to drink some ginger ale but I'm achy, shivery, lethargic, crampy in the gut, and muzzy-headed. PERFECT TIME TO EMBARK ON A ROAD TRIP!!!

I won't be going back to Chipotle any time soon. ::shudder::

This weekend I'm performing in New York state at Dicken's Christmas in Skaneateles (note: web site plays a video ad with sound). I'll get to hang out with My Boyfriend Emrys, and it might snow, so I'm bringing my cross country skis!

Speaking of driving, I took my older ailing car to Carmax last night and was happy with how quickly and painlessly that went. Also Glenn and I had fun sitting in a 2006 Rav4 and checking out all its bells and whistles. Glenn drives the second version of the Rav4, I can't remember the year, and we were mighty impressed with how that model has evolved.
