Wally pushed back from the computer, an uneasy feeling inside. He was suddenly grateful that Bart was safe at Titans East, as it looked like Jinx would be staying with him a few days.
Anger filled him. Slade was threatening Tiger with Jinx's life?
It always stirred something inside him when Jinx neeed him, came to him for help. She really trusted him, looked to him, knowing he would do all he could because he loved her. And he was glad that she would ask, because Wally wanted to be there for her more than anything. And if her life was in danger, he would certainly be doing all he could for her.
She'd asked to be near him for a few days, and Wally had immediately agreed. Slade wasn't going to do anything to his girlfriend while he was around.
He stood and took off in a burst of energy for the HIVE:Swarm tower.
