Updated Dragon*Con Costume Schedule....
So, as I've only got one piece of one costume left to finish (and have a backup option for that piece, if I don't) and all the various groups and such I'm participating in have finalized their schedules, I figured I'd post an updated list of my costume schedule for this year's con.
Friday
3:30 PM - 6:30 PM: Steampunk Cinderella (Disney "rags" version), Sheraton, then Westin and ending up at the Hyatt
7:00 PM - whenever: Applejack (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)
Saturday
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Icicle Fairy (Original), Mariott
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Steampunk Wendy (Peter Pan), Hilton
Sunday
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Casual Steampunk (Will likely throw something together from the pieces in my closet.)
6:00 PM - 12:00 AM: Steampunk Absinthe Outfit (A combination of the Circus dress and the Opium Den dress... it'll make more sense once you see it.), Guinness Attempt and Time Traveler's Ball
I don't wear costumes on Monday, as I'm usually so achy by that point that I desperately want to be in jeans. You may notice that I've added a new costume to the schedule (Applejack). This was mainly because 1) I really wanted to do it and 2) I currently have everything for the costume with the exception of the wig (I figured I could get double-duty out of the Cinderella wig I'll be buying at con) and the ears (which I'll also be buying while there).
Yes, I have pseudo-western stuff in my closet because I occasionally play a space cowboy at Eclipse. I have the hat, boots, shorts or jeans (haven't decided which yet), and several shirts that could work. I just need to make a couple of apple-shaped patches and I'm done.
