[Backdated to Saturday evening; Text/Audio]
Things seem to have calmed down again; I certainly hope it lasts. In the meantime, though, I believe I owe you all a puzzle. This one is a classic -- it has existed in one form or another for thousands of years.
You have three dogs and three chickens that you want to get across a river. There is a boat, but there is only room to take two animals with you at once, and there must always be at least one animal with you (for the purposes of this puzzle). If the dogs ever outnumber the chickens while you're not there, they will chase the chickens and scare them away. How do you get all the animals across?
If it's not to your liking or if you already know the answer, I have plenty of other puzzles, of course.
[Commentlogs from anyone at Casa de Meryl are welcome! :3b]
