Tsukada gave himself about half an hour to find Meisa's apartment from PUZZLE regardless of the fact it'd only taken them about fifteen minutes to walk it last time. That time, Meisa had been leading the way and it had been dark as pitch; things always looked different in the daytime. But Tsukada was confident he remembered how to get there, even if it looked like his young niece was attempting to foil him every other step of the way.
He carried her at his hip, because though she could walk (read: stumble along) at barely a year old, it wasn't more than a few steps at a time. She still kicked her feet about though, and kept throwing her shoes to the pavement. "Risa!" Tsukada chided. "Stop that..." He retrieved the gumboot and wedged it back on her foot. Tsk, the weather report had said there would be rain later, so his sister had dressed Risa 'appropriately'. Which included shoes that did not strap to her feet... oh well. At least her little dress was cute. Meisa had seemed kind of excited to see Risa, and Tsukada didn't want to disappoint.
Though first on that note would be actually showing up. It was about noon now, and Tsukada was pretty sure he had the right apartment block at least. But as he entered the first floor lobby, the thought struck him that he had no idea what apartment number Meisa was at. He blinked. That had been rather lacking in foresight of him.
So while Risa squirmed in the crook of his arm, he fished his cellphone out of his pocket and typed up a quick mail, not wanting to call just in case Meisa was still cooking or busy with other things.
Ne... Meisa, sorry! What number's your apartment?
