Dhè, beannaich dhomh an là ùr,
Nach do thùradh dhomh roimhe riamh;
Is ann gu beannachadh do ghùis,
Thu thu 'n ùine seo dhomh, a Dhia.

Beannaich thusa dhomh mo shùil,
Beannaich mo shùil na chì;
Beannaich mise mo nabaidh,
Beannaicheadh mo nabaidh mi.

Dhè tabhair dhomh-sa crìdh glan,
Na leig a sheall do shùla mi;
Beannaich dhomh mo ghin 's mo bhean/ chèile,
'S beannaich domh mo nearc 's mo nì.

God bless for me the new day,
Never vouchsafed to me before;
It is to bless Thine own presence
That thou has given this time to me, O God.

Bless Thou for me mine eye,
May mine eye bless all it may see,
I will bless my neighbour,
May my neighbour bless me.

God, give to me a clean heart,
Do not leave me from the sight of Thine eye;
Bless for me my children and my wife/ spouse,
And bless for me my means and my possessions.
