Mirai walked out of their cafeteria with a frown on her face. Apparently, she made too much food and was not able to finished everything up. Someone who she knew would eat the whole thing up in a second was too busy sleeping to even take a bite.
She mumbled something about the food going to waste and something else while passing by the garden and found someone sitting under the tree.
She stared at the familiar guy she knew ever since their first year in Horikoshi as he banged his head lightly and pretending to drum in the air.
Without thinking twice she walked towards him and sat besid e him, grabbing on of the earpiece from his ear and jamming in hers.
"You listen to this kind of music?" Mirai looked at him with a grin on her face
Yuto, startled stared at the smiling Shida Mirai and got back his earphones and nodded "well.. yeah"
"Do you even understand what they're saying?" Mirai asked in amusement
"S-sort.. of. Its a western song.. but I like their music" He started " Someday.. Im gonna sing on--"
"hai~" Mirai jammed a piece of a juicy red apple in his mouth and burst out laughing
Yuto swallowed down the food and watched Mirai laughed "W-what that for?" He looked away hiding his flushed face from her.
Mirai wiped off a few tears off her eyes "Nothing. I just had to shut you before you start babbling about your future dreams again to me"
"..." The dumb skinny drummer stared at the girl of his dreams for a while as she opened her bento box
"Here" She offered him.
Yuto picked up a rabbit shaped apple and chuckled "Rabbit?" He looked at her.
"What?!... Its cute. You dont want it? Fine" Mirai pouted and tried grabbing the apple in his hand " Give it to me..."
"No!" the young boy smiled as he raised his hand and waved it in different directions. Keeping it away from her hands as much as possible. "I like..." Yuto popped the small piece of fruit in his mouth and grinned "this"
Mirai stared at him. "I hate you..."
Yuto snickered and picked up another piece from her bento. "Hey, dont get mad Mirai-chan"
"...hmmpf"
"here" He tried feeding Mirai with her apples "I know you still want to eat them..."
Mirai shot a glare at him and bit the apple he was holding.... including his fingers.
"I know.. your mad... but you didnt have to bite my finger..." Yuto pretended to cry.
"It's your fault anyway..." Mirai mumbled. "Yosh. Yosh.. Just finish this and I wont be mad any more.... ne?" she messed his hair.
Yuto smiled and nodded.
Not too soon, everything was all finished up and Yuto was giving Mirai some personal air drum lessons.
God knows what happpened to the sleeping pig in the cafeteria.
