(no subject)
Am off to Atlanta for the SRCD conference tomorrow....after spending almost all of the day packing, unpacking, and then again repacking...oh-to check in or not to check in....that is the question! :)
Atlanta promises to be fun. Most of the developmental psych junta from my department is going, so looks like it will be one big picnic. Six of us (including my sis) are going together. It's a case of 'happy families' in more ways than one, as my advisor's ex-husband (they continue to be great friends) is my sisters adviser...and I will soon be 'adopted' by him once my adviser retires this summer.
Yesterday I did my 'good-wifely' bit by making enough grub for Subs so he doesn't go hungry...lol. In fact, I felt like I had really accomplished a lot after I made set apart four neat containers of pulao and rajma in the fridge, and marinated enough chicken (to hopefully be consumed as tandoori chicken) to feed a small army :)
I saw 'The Incredibles' last Thursday, and enjoyed the film-it could have easily passed off for a hindi potboiler, especially towards the end :) I'd like to now watch the hindi version for the shahrukh khan version!
PS: Happy Birthday Varshax. Hope this birthday is an extra special one, with lots of cake & ice cream, and everything thats fun! :)
