Quick update on the baby situation:

§         I heard the peanut’s heartbeat last Tuesday. Was very relieved about this. Rode that high until about yesterday, when I began worrying again. I have another appointment on the 21st to hear the heartbeat again, after which my worry about miscarriage will subside substantially, only to be replaced with ( Read more... )

I know you know all this already, most likely. Buuuuut....if you aren't eating a lot of veggies (like the dark, leafy, green variety) then you really should be taking Lactic Acid supliments. There is a nasty birth defect/disease out there caused buy the lack of Lactic Acid. Aaaannnyway.
You will be happy to know that a whole bunch of problems can be easily prevented by you! You aren't over 40 so the odds of getting a baby with Downs or Autism are much lower. You won't get a baby with FAS or NAS (Fetal Alchohal Syndrome and Narcotic something Syndrome)
And...uh...ya...I'm not sure if this is helping.... erg.

Plus, she won't have a baby as fucked-up as me, 'cause that takes a good 35 years of fucking up to develop.

Hey, hope you're doing well (both of you, if you both see this.) I'm alive and stuff. May write soon but it's always hard to say. Miss you though. :leaves hugs:

Hi... glad to see you still exist ;-)

Hey, you can always send me an email update if a journal entry doesn't materialize *hint*

Are you sure you don't mean folic acid? Cuz that's what's in leafy greens and if you don't get enough it can cause spina bifida. Which is why everyone who's pregnant and has half a brain also takes a prenatal vitamin that's loaded with it and lotsa other stuff, like iron, which makes you poo like a rabbit.

And, yeah, I have at least half a brain, so I'm covered. But thanks!

Also, I ate brocoli yesterday! Only two flowerets, but still. Progress!

Um...yes. Folic Acid. That is what I meant. Sorry. Shane is right. I should just stop trying to help.
In my defence I am totally pre-occupied with INSANE amounts of reading for my classes. Plus Maple is missing (only a day or two but very unlike her). Can't be expected to keep things like Folic Acid in my brain. And be Tactful! Pah! :P

Come on now. Tact was never your stong point, school or no school.

Maple's missing? Are you going crazy?

Yah..I've given up on tact. Case in point my first Women's Studies Class noted on my journal.

And yes, Maple is still missing. And yes I'm starting to go mildly crazy. I've actually pretty much written her off because she NEVER wanders far from home. If this was Loki I wouldn't be too worried yet. And there have been a kazzilion Coyote sightings and Coyote Cat-nappings up here. Many warnings to keep your cats in and everything. But I chose to ignored them because, come on...if its not the coyotes its something else and I'm not keeping 2 cats who hate each other locked up in a bachelour pad.
Aaannnywho...on a completely non-emotional practical note, one less cat would be very handy with all the trying to find a new place to live and bonding with Buddy (boyfriend's cat).

Ok...I am really avoiding doing homework right now and I really need to get on that.
