(no subject)
So EVOLVE is happening in less than 3 days now!!! I'm so excited :D Like my stomach has butterflies I'm so excited. This is like Christmas for me...or what Christmas used to be when I was younger. Except now I'm just going to be partying hard in a field with my best friends, dancing, being fucked up and wearing as many light-up glowing things as possible! Lea will be down on Thursday and then me and Jess are off in the afternoon on Friday so that we can get everything ready so that when the boys get off work we can just get the fuck out of town!
I have a lot of things to do before this actually happens, but hopefully I will be able to get shit done tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. I cleaned up and finished the flag with Jess last nite and then today I didn't do dick all after I got off work. I worked till like 8 and then I worked out for 45 minutes after that. Since I work at the gym I have to work out at least 3 times a week (if you don't work out enough, you can get fired) They told me that in training and everything and my manager was really pushing it on me last week, cuz I started out not really exercising that much due to my schedule and Nick was down and to be honest I didn't have good enough work out clothes to work out there. ahaha. I know that sounds pathetic but I was super self conscious about it as I was working out in an old t-shirt and pj pants (they were black but still) So last week I went to Wal-mart and got a whole matching outfit. Black work out pants and a racer back tank with a built in sports bra (which is amazing to me)
When I have more $ I will be getting a personal trainer cuz it's only $20 per session (for an hour) instead of the $60 that the general public has to pay. It's def worth it. I know I have some weight to lose, that's for sure. I was hoping to get it off this summer but ah well. If I stay at the gym, things should start looking up for me exercise wise. :)
So we have all our supplies for Evolve...getting more tomorrow or the next day :) Very happy about that, was kinda worried we might not get everything (and we didn't get everything we wanted, but we got enough of the other stuff to make up for it) And there's always the chance we can find it there once we're there. I just never want to count on that, I want to make sure that I have enough of what I want to have a good time. And we do. So I'm happy!
Not too much has been going on with me, been working a lot. I sold 3 memberships on my first day of commission (which was yesterday) but didn't do that well today, had a few walk-ins, but didn't sell them anything just set them up on free trial passes. My boss said that was cool because apparently I am guaranteed to get a set amount of money this pay period and then next pay period I am on straight up commission only. So right now I'm "building my business" and I hired a Marketing Assistant today, which was cool. Not that I really need her right now as I don't even have anyone for her to call, but hopefully in the near future everything will be awesome.
Really liking the new job, still kinda nervous about telling them that I'm going away to Toronto for a week in August. I haven't told them yet because of Evolve and I wanted to make sure that I got that time off, so I didn't tell them yet cuz I thought they might try to make me work this weekend, and there's no way in hell I would. hahah. And then the next weekend I have off we're supposed to be going to Magic Mountain with a bunch of high school and university people I haven't seen in forever! So hopefully that will work out well, I'm sad that Nick won't be there cuz he has to work, but we'll hang out before and after I think.
Anyways, this is pretty fucking lengthy and I should be getting to bed as I have to work in less than 12 hours! That's the good thing about this job is that I don't have to work till like 10:30 or 11:30 in the morning. So I have time to get some quality sleep and there's like no rush hour traffic when I'm heading out. Peace out! I probably won't be writing again until after EVOLVE!!
