i know it's been long...

but isn't it always.

i don't even remember what i last updated about... so i will just write about what i can think it excited/interesting that y'all might want to hear about. :)

I think you may all know that I have been living on my own (financially independent) since July. It has been incredibly great! I absolutely love my room mates; we just really mesh well. hahah one roomie could be a little less careless but overall nothing crazy. we all get along and i just enjoy living in the heart of North Park.

Speaking of North Park, since living here I am able to bike everywhere. It's awesome. I feel like even though San Diego isn't a good city to walk and for public transit, I've been keeping active. Last Saturday I woke up at 7am and with the help of craigslist I created a route for a biking garage sale tour around North Park and South Park. It was nice having time with myself and just browse peacefully early in the morning. I biked around for THREE hours. I want to start doing it every week-- geez, I'm turning into my father.

Speaking of my father, next Tuesday is my first enameling class! My dad and I are taking a "continuing education" enamel class for six weeks. Actually he has already taken some but I want him to do it again. I have a slight feeling he might not complete all six weeks but it's okay. I'm excited to do something creative again.

Also! A friend of mine belongs to a community garden and last week she asked me if I wanted to share her plot with her! I am just so stoked about this. It will keep me busy and I will be doing something sustainable. Since I cook so much it will be nice to have a garden to make fresh meals! mmmm...

I guess lastly, for those of you that actually still read this (and live in San Diego), I am hosting a Pumpkin Carving Party on Oct. 30th. It's BYOP! p=pumpkin :) there will be yummy goodies and I am going to make soup right from the fresh pumpkins we are carving! AHH! soo excited.

well, that is my life as of now. still working at the school and loving it. hmmm... that's it.

xo.
