My performance debut
So if you are really bored this Saturday feel free to pop along to South Leith Parish Church halls on Henderson Street and watch me perform a bellydance duet (which I choreographed as well, and designed costumes for). There is other stuff on, including jewellery workshops and beauty therapies, and I believe (although not 100%) the whole thing is free. It is for International Women's Day so open only to women an boys under the age of 10. The bellydancers will be on between 1-2pm and will include 5 performances ranging from a bit rubbish to breathtaking (I will leave it to you to guess where mine falls on this scale) plus if there is interest we will be running a mini-workshop showing some basic moves for beginners. I'm pretty nervous so would be cool to see some smiley familiar faces in the audience.
