Uh, has your teacher watched commercials on Lifetime recently? Or for that matter, any commercial on during the day.
Women in these commercials breed, praise Wal*Mart, strive to please their husbands and families, and cook amazing meals. And that's it.
Unless they're working on -top- of that.
Bull shit bull shit bull shit.

even if they did make a commercial about lesbian it would probably only be in order to interest men and 13 year old boys in a porn type sense. hm...2 girls. i think that would also annoy me. i cannot stand movies that show lesbians just for pornography purpostes. now if they were guys making out...that would definitely generate worthwhile some controversy.

i like your rambling.

yeah... i like controversy! simply because that's when people really show how stupid they are...

aww, you like my rambling? really? *sniffle*

man, i can't tell you how many times my friends and i have had guys drooling over the fact that were lesbians *shakes head* *sighs*

i don't know about you but i cannot stand pornography and its influence on today's culture.

i'm really opinionated. i never used to be this way.

anyway controversy rocks my face off, too.

your ramblings usually [i don't know when they haven't] coincide with mine only you word them better than i ever could.

not to mention the amount of sexual exploitation and sexual imagery of woman as one part of her body. using this one perfect part of her body to stand in the forefront, so that we can forget she is a real person and break her down into a compartmentalized human being who is easy to throw away.

i was more or less just talking about wives in advertising but dont even get me started on women in general.

the system is so fucking patriarchal and corrupt.

you know my rants on this topic. little girls grow up thinking that weighing seventy pounds is normal for a full grown woman- which is why we have 10 and 11 year old girls at perfectly healthy weights talking about dieting- oh and then there is the pilsbury commercials. pure evil. it's always dad and 2 or 3 kids sitting impatiently at the table looking cranky until mom brings them some rolls. i think one of them even implied that making these certain biscuits would make mom's family love her more. sick. not to mention that not a single household cleaning product advertisement is aimed at men.

wives in media have not come a long way at all.

its time for some serious media reform.

This rankles me as well. As far as I can tell, the people these ads are directed at still by and large have some respect for, or at the very least accept these images.

But especially the mom cleaning up her childrens' assorted messes. Pooa to that.
