holllaaaarrr!!!

ok so I need to stop hollering at people, its even annoying me now.

I started my work placement and realised maybe I should've just tried to apply to it as a job in the first place and then i'd be getting money for these 4 weeks. But I didn't want to risk it. They're a lot more relaxed about you making the odd mistake when they're not paying you. And maybe if they love me at the end of the 4 weeks they'll employ me.
I think the company has a lot of money because despite being on minimum wage, the runners seem well looked after. By this I mean there is always a fridge stocked full of cans of coke etc, juice, there's always biscuits and bread and so on and you're expected to help yourself, and to me this is like wow because I'm used to working in the kind of shitty place where you have to buy your own lunch (rushes lets you take a fiver out your float for lunch, tis the same for paid workers too), and buy your own personal tea/coffee/drinks etc. I think this place has a booze budget too. Its basically cus they have smart clients coming in and have to offer a "5-star service" to them cus its like thousands of pounds a day to use their suites.

Also I'm finally sleeping normally, despite being totally knackered (and this is only mid-week!) I just generally feel a lot better than I did in the weeks running up to this. Before, I'd get up stupidly late, eat something like cheese on toast for lunch, snack during the afternoon, have dinner, and then I'd stay up late cus I was wired and would just snack more haha.
Now I feel like when I get home and eat and sleep I actually deserve it! I don't have time to snack in the day and after dinner in the evening I'm so tired I don't think about eating anything else. And I've spent all day power walking to various soho food outlets and other production companies and running up and down stairs repeatedly, it leaves me feeling gross and sweaty at the end of the day but it sorta feels good at the same time. Today I had a yoghurt for breakfast, a slim pret (i.e. half a sandwich) and miso soup for lunch and falafel and salad for dinner. So hopefully that should make a difference to my sluggish appearance. Altho its only my legs that are getting a work out, not my tummy. But I'm sure I might at least be burning fat. Cardio-vascular-intermodulator-BANANAPHOOOOOOONE etc etc

i've gone mental havent I
