Fire burning all around us
There is fire burning North of us, East of us, and South of us. West is the ocean. People are evacuated from Napa, Sonoma, Santa Rosa, and down south friends left their house when the fire was two blocks away.
We are okay, though. Our air here is still good, too, but we didn't go outside. Celeste had a great time playing at Hannah's, and Derek read, looked at board games, listened to Jonathan Coulton, played video games, and had a bit of a tantrum when he accidentally lost his saved game at Ratchet & Clank. I spent the day working, and then I made dinner of stuffed delicata squash and homemade beer bread from the TJs mix. It was good, although the stuffed squash was overshadowed by the delicious beer bread. Mmmm.
