For those of you who are in Super Tuesday states, I am begging you... GO VOTE. Never in my memory have we had a race like this one, wide open between candidates on both sides. They're talking about how both nominees might wind up being decided in the convention, a far cry from Kerry's fast march to victory four years ago

Remember that people who work the polls have to arrive at ohmygod! in the morning (that's the time of morning when you look at the clock and moan 'Oh my god.') and work an eleven, or something twelve hour shift with hardly any break at all. And they do this for a pittance, way less than minimum wage. It's bound to make anyone cranky and careless. ;)

I'd be a bitch if I had to be somewhere at like 5:30 in the morning, too.

Oh, forgot to add: Good on you for voting! I'm convinced that a large part of why our political process isn't working is because people don't participate. I think that if everyone got out there, it'd be much harder for politicians to remain corrupt, and much harder for them to keep dirty dealings under wraps.

My friends, family, co-workers, and random strangers have all been getting sick of my increasingly hysterical demands that they GO VOTE NO REALLY GO VOTE NOOOOOOW! I'm sure they're glad that Super Tuesday is over and I'll shut up.

I know I was getting a little over the top, because my co-worker greeted me when I came in today with: "I voted yesterday!"

They may be sick of it, but I bet many of them voted who never would have voted because of your frenetic voting pitches.
