Crushing on him....
So recently I became friends with a group that is fun and have been through a long relationship like I have. We give each other support, love and trust. We are in each others lives for a reason I believe.
Well, anyways I was introduced to 2 different guys that hang out with us. Neither of them knew each other until last weekend. But that's besides the point. The first guy I met is named Miguel. He's a nice guy, a bit funny n awkward at times but in a cute way. He lives up the street from me. He's like our bodyguard. He shows no signs of who he's interested in. He's drama free. Last weekend we carpooled together n agreed to do that whenever the group goes out so that in case one of us is to drunk to drive. He kisses me on my cheek to say hello or to say goodbye. And it catches me off guard every time because no other guy has ever kissed my cheek that passionately. But that's as far as our story goes. I don't want to read too much into it.
Ok, 2nd guy. His name is Jose. Very handsome. Very flirty and all around cool guy. I guess I should mention that the whole group, besides myself n Michelle, work together at AZ Dept. of Corrections. They're all correction officers but in different areas. So anyways our good friend Gracie also works there and use to date Jose. But she's a hopeless romantic who needs to be center of attention. U can tell he does not want to be in a relationship. And she's sloppy n jealous when she drinks. Big turn off to him. So he stopped dating her, she thinks he's a jerk. She warned us all about him. Well one time she did not go out with us and Elissa, who works with both Gracie n Jose, invited him to hang out with us. I thought, should I be a bitch to him because of everything Gracie has told me? i decided, I should not hate him because of her, but to make my own judgement. So when I met him, he was very cool, nice and sweet. Never passed as a jerk, still hasn't til this day. That night we danced, had a good time. I've hung out with him twice after that. The 3rd time was this past weekend. And he brought a friend. A girl who is a friend. He has lots of those. No big deal, i am not a jealous person and i knew she was nothing more. Well she got real sloppy n drunk. He of course was turned off by it. He asked me to dance n told her he was gonna dance with me and for her to stay put. LOL! So we were dancing n talking. He said he did not want to babysit her. She came down from Cali to visit. I asked if she was his girl, even though I already knew the answer. He said Heck no! LOL! i just needed confirmation. ;) So in the end he had to take her back home. Left her there and came back to us. We kept eyeing and flirting with each other. It was awesome. We hugged.
Now he's into fitness. Like body building. And I guess to be in the job he's in u have to be fit. Cuz da whole group is always talking about staying fit for the job. In my experience a guy who is really into fitness likes girls who are fit as well. I am into fitness but not heavily. and I am not fit. I am a big girl but I know how to carry it off and I'm not so self concious. And I can still be sexy and some guys pick up on it. So I know he's out of my league but I am crushing on him. After that night I can't stop thinking about him. And on FaceBook he was liking and commenting on all my posts. He never did that before. He said he will meet up with me again on Saturday when the group goes out again. So we'll see....
