We're up, we're back!

My family and I survived Hurricane Ike quite nicely, with some damage but nothing too major, and now that we have power back, we're feeling great.

We arrived back home around 8pm last night after we'd heard the power and water was back in our neighborhood. It was smooth sailing the whole way back (except for it being VERY hot, and our air conditioner just doesn't work very well). Well, we all are extremely fine. :) My family and I are in Seguin, Texas, 90 miles outside of San Antonio, and are enjoying our mini vacation. We’ve heard back from neighbors that our houses are completely fine, and we are waiting for power and water to come back on, and for our region to be allowed back in before we head back home.
