Back to the routine...

We had our first Spring TYA show this morning. I did a lot of standing around until it was time to sing something, then more standing around until the next song, etc. Michael did all the talking, which was fine with me since we didn't have any rehearsal time and I basically had to wing it. Not exactly a difficult gig to "wing" since I could probably sing these songs even if I were in a coma at this point; I've been doing these shows for 8 years now. Of course, the show no longer resembles the script I received 8 years ago, Michael has made so many changes, but the format isn't too far off. There's only so much you can teach a 5 year old about ecology anyway.

Starting to think about Bristol now. I'm playing the music. I've finally washed the costume (still gotta wash and style the wig). I'm composing text for Jezzie's website (COMING SOON). I'm making a list of items I need to repair/replace for the upcoming summer. I'm cooking up new business for the Street. And I'm thinking of composing a couple of new songs, in addition to finally learning all of "Watkin's Ale." which I've been meaning to learn now for about two seasons. Yeah, I've got it bad.

In the meantime... I have a Vicariate Confirmation program and a funeral program to format and print, not to mention a lot of music I need to copy for next weekend. The monotony continues...

faire, holler, church
