fortune cookies
i'm not a big fan of fortune cookies but i had two today.
hmmm...i thought they were the same. guess not.
anyways, the fortune's were kinda similar.
1 - look for love in unexpected places
2 - your future love is close at hand
it's this valentines day nonsense, i'm sure of it.
after getting the first one i was sitting on the floor putting some random wine on a bottom shelf when my sister and i were making fun of the fortunes in the cookies. being a smart ass i decided to stick my head between the shelves and shout, "hello love, are you back there?"
then my sister without missing a beat went behind the counter and in her best manly voice said, "no ann, i'm not, keep looking."
it's been a completely random, silly day.
my dad was even in a good mood.
my mom was in the middle of talking about her day at work and i wasn't listening really but my dad was. then out of the blue, in the middle of her rant, he said in his best childish voice, "you're not the boss of me"
i stop, looked at him and just died laughing. i'm quite sure you had to be there, unless you know my dad. it was even better than him making fun of jerry springer. then my mom decided to bring up all those stupid phrases we all used to say when we were younger. i couldn't breathe i was laughing so hard.
i need more of these kinds of days.
