Oh the stress...

Yesterday was the suck.  Really.

First Steve had his court issues-- he lost on both tickets and there's a bit of a fishy smell to it.  The judge said he was guilty on the yellow curb issue because in the daylight, you could see that the curb was yellow-ish.  Never mind that the ticket was issued at 10 pm.  However, he did reduce the fine to $0, but added a $35 court cost.  On the second ticket, he was just guilty and the judge doubled the fine, plus added the $35 court cost.  So instead of just paying for the two tickets ($84) we ended up shelling out $120.  That was some pricey dinner.  Grrrr.

Andy was just a nightmare all day.  The constant whining and screaming really got to me-- the worst it's ever been.  The topper was that whenever Andy wasn't screaming, Joey was.  They took naps at opposite times too so I never really got a break all day.

Anyone who says that being a SAHM is easy, has clearly never done it or gags their kids and ties them to chairs.

We did have a really cool thunderstorm last night.  That was neat to watch.  Right out our gigantic living room window, across the street, there's a big gap between the houses that looks over the creek.  The sky is wide open and it's excellent for watching sunsets, fireworks and storms.  It's probably my favorite thing about this house.

(Lyddy, I took pictures and as soon as I figure out where in my computer they're hiding, I'll post them. It's really not as impressive as I think you think it is!)

I'm planning to take Andy to the party gym in a little while.  I have to do a round of diaper changes, pack the diaper bag, cut Joey's nails, put on his moisturizer and pull myself together before we can leave.

Oh and Andy is doing something really cute.  Every time Joey makes a noise he runs over to him and says, "Joey, Joey hut hut!" (translation: Joey, Joey shut up!)  I don't know where he got it from because I don't remember saying that to either of them but who knows, in one of my more frazzled moments, I might have.

ventiness, momminess
