(no subject)
we're seeing brecht's life of galileo at the wilma tonight. i like the play and have been wanting to see something at the wilma since we moved here, and it somehow showed up on the half priced list for the weekend (even at half price, tickets for two cost nearly $60). as far as i can remember, this is the first time this theatre has shown up on the tickets list since we moved here, so i think it's great that we're actually able to see this production.
tomorrow is daniel's birthday - we'd been planning a day of frisbee golf at the park, but had been hearing weather reports all week about the rain expected for today and tomorrow. so then we thought that we wouldn't be able to do that, and would have to plan something indoors instead. however it's already nearly 6 pm on saturday and so far no rain. i guess the plans are up in the air right now. i'm also going to be making deviled crab fondue for dinner (the recipe wasn't actually for fondue, but we tried it that way one time and liked it better than the original serving method) and some cupcakes rather than a full sized cake. i'm planning to drench the cupcakes in rainbow sprinkles, something daniel keeps telling me is less than necessary (but everything is better with sprinkles).
