These guys are absolutely fabulous - I discovered them through XFM a few weeks ago, and I can't wait till next Tuesday when slappersire and I are seeing them live.

I have a £15 iTunes Store gift card, and no real idea what to get with it. I'm contemplating the Tunng album, and really looking for something within the Folk-o-sphere. Any recommendations? I'm happy to get either albums or single tracks, and am currently loving Thea Gilmore, John Smith & Show Of Hands.

Listen to Lisa Knapp. She has a lovely, lovely voice, and is singing some beautiful songs. Sort of like Sinead O'Connor, without the random screaming and with a softer voice.

I appear to have lost about an hour quietly pottering listening to her album.
