Fun weekend
So Skeebs came up this weekend and I finally got the chance to join the two sides of my life: Athens friends and high school friends. We hung out with Alex and Sara, Jordan and Lillian. It was fun...drinking, smoking, political debates. We went downtown later and had a blast...Skeebs of course scoring a guy at Allgood in 2.5 seconds (how does she DO that?). I wound up talking with Jordan for most of the night...I liked that. I know, I know...not my type...not my type at all...but you know what? He makes me feel really good about myself and he makes me smile. Its a nice change for once. After all the tears I've cried over boys in the past few months, it was great to have one make me smile. I'm in no way ready for anything other than friendship right now...not after what Brian did to me...but its nice to know that not all boys are out there to break your heart.
In other news, I'm thinking about quitting my job and focusing solely on school. The stress is just getting to me too much. I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about things at work, and its causing me to forget about assignments and deadlines. Plus if I don't get away from Brian, I'll never get over him. I'm going to be so sad to leave everyone though...I've made some great friends there. Frank, Alicia, Brent, Brenda, Sarah...I'll miss them. I'll also miss the money...that job pays pretty well. And if I hang on to it, combined with my loan, I could afford to go to Hawaii to visit Annie over spring break, and to California for fall break. Oh well, we will see.
