life IS good
I've realized that I've begun to sound incredibly way too emo in these things lately. To be honest, things around the Dunes are pretty darn good. The kids and staff at camp are great, with the occasional exception of course, but nothing major. Last weekend we had the fireworks at Brian and Warren's place in Michigan City, and it was a great reminder of why I'm here. :) It's that sense of true community that really separates this place from being just another job and makes it all worthwhile. This week is Earth Camp, which, while posing new challenges to us, is always one of my favorite weeks. I truly (finally) am happy to be here.
