Just found this blog:
Postcards From You Momma. It's hysterical. And reminds me very much of my mother and auntie. Go enjoy!
I was hoping to play tennis today, but I'm not so sure. My arms and legs aren't the happiest. They aren't in miserable agony, but they're groaning a little bit if I move certain ways. I just really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun, so I'm all "AGAIN!!!" We'll see if Ryan's up for it, and if I'm awake enough for it, later on. First I have to get out of work, he has to get back from the dentist, and we have to put my regular-weather tires back on. I'm also exhausted (on a Saturday? NO!), so part of me just wants to go take a NAP. (Seriously, I could go to sleep this very instant. Happily. Joyously.)
Not only did I burn over 500 calories playing tennis yesterday, I also worked out here at work. Even with two Eggos for breakfast and chicken noodle soup for lunch, I was at negative calories before dinner. Then dinner was a bunch of fries, two glasses of milk, and two pieces of Greek pizza (pepperoni, Feta cheese, black olives, spinach, and garlic--divine!). That plus the two tablespoons of honey I had with my tea at home (I loves me some honey) put me in the caloric black, but I was still under budget by almost 800 calories. Woot.
Today, I had eggs for breakfast, and I have no idea beyond that. As previously mentioned, I'm exhausted, so the possibility of another work out, or another round of tennis, is slim. The possibility of going to Ryan's and blobbing for the rest of the day? Very good. Lunch? Dinner? No idea.
Right, back to the needlework...
