This is actually the third day in a row with sunny weather here in Hammerfest. Makes me all happy and joyful. I just wish a tad bit warmer, +9°C isn't exactly warm enough to sit outside in a t-shirt reading. Especially when it's windy. And I refuse to put on clothes as if it was winter - that would just spoil some of the niceness for me ( Read more... )

I've made shawls before, but tis one is the first that I've knitted. I knitted it before the car accident, and then it took a bit before I got around to block it, but it has been all done for quite a while now ( Read more... )

Today I went on a three hour walk in the woods with my friends *Enigma* and misa. I had brought books about mushrooms, a basket and my camera, among some other things.

And did I find mushrooms! I found Golden chanterelles (Cantharellus cibarius), Trumpet chanterelles (Cantharellus tubaeformis), and Terracotta Hedgehog (Hydnum rufescens).
