I have returned from Quebec and learning about marathon canoe races. It turns out they're pretty crazy and everyone involved with helping the actual paddlers is actually in the race too. This makes for psychotic Quebec driving on the part of everyone. Anyway. Supercool.
It seems that Kris has been named Nova Scotia Male Team Athlete of the month for July. I think this might make me kind of like totally the head cheerleader. *snaps gum* Also, he confirms that there's some world championship he could be going into if he had the money and whatnot. It is in later September in France. I suggested he somehow go anyway because my god if a person can qualify for a world championships in something imagine the bragging rights! And if someone goes to the world championships of something isn't it kind of implied that this someone's significant other gets to go too?
