Always the way: last Monday was the day that kind of set off a very bad week indeed, and when I came home there was a severe absence of crack-like fanfiction to help distract me and cheer me up.
Today I get home to an abundance of my favourites being updated, after a day that was actually really good.
(Although, as I said on Twitter the other day, any fanfiction with the eventual theme of "Romana the Vampire Slayer" should have a warning on it, dammit. That's bad, even to me. Worse than "Buffy is a fobwatched Romana".)
Edited: Actually, about to wade into George Tillman posts on ontd_political and unfunnybusiness on JournalFen. I may need that crack!fic and possibly lots of chocolate and tissues fairly soon after all...
