I shall use my Smurfy-made PP icon in honour of your post.

I can't wait to chat! *snuggles you*

*snuggles more*

Aside: I've actually caught moments of SG-1 this past week and have, again, been reminded of how utterly adorable I find early Daniel - currently S3. [pets him]

I'd try and chat now (am home) but I'm also trying to do a heap of stuff and am busy and... sigh. But soon! Soon! Soon!

Not a problem, hon. I'll be around tomorrow night especially since I'm not working Friday. Perhaps then?

Definitely then! *smooches* Yays for Daniel, btw :) Channel 7 finally showed Sleeping Beauty the other night (no CJ the week before due to Miss Universe, bah!), and yes, twas brilliant and Nigel totally stole the thing and I so ship Garrett/Jordan.

god, I'm so glad to hear that other people think in jane austen. I swear, when I've just finished re-reading p&p at any given time, I start to talk funny, you know, wanting to throw out words that stopped being used 100 years ago. btw, I assume you've seen the bbc/a&e version? if not, you should do so immediately...

I love the BBC version. There is no other version. Colin Firth is the only person to play Mr Darcy (even in Bridget Jones). I have it on VHS and on DVD. When I was in year 9, doing literature, it was 1996 and so we were watching the miniseries in-class. My best friend at the time and I sat way too close to the TV, and since there was only two people with a Y chromosome in the class we watched the wet shirt scene more times than I care to count, and the final kiss.

Now Mum and I, whenever Dad has a conference or something, put aside one day in which we sit down and watch the entire thing from start to finish. Any excuse, after all!
