It's hard to get a screw when you're a fan of Doctor Who

Sunday week ago, a group of us went to Melbourne on the minibus to go to the Camberwell swap meet. There were some family members going down, too, because we're a tiny, tiny group of people..

One woman I'm rather good friends with took her 12 year old son with her. When she got back home she asked him what he thought of the people on the bus. He said he liked "the lady in glasses who talked about Doctor Who".

Three guesses who he meant and the first two don't count. A reputation? Me? NEVER!

Last Friday, The Chaser's War On Everything did a hilarious "Doctor Who fansong". If you know The Chaser, you know what to expect. But apparently my friend's son was worried that I might have been offended.

Seriously, I'm an Old School Buffy/Angel 'shipper and I (used to) know people who were in the Trekkies documentary-thing. I think I've heard everything, and I loved this. Granted, I've never actually built a model TARDIS, but I've built the Enterprise, a Borg cube and the Milennium Falcon, so I think I still win in the pathetic fan stakes.

Best thing since the skit where David Williams and Mark Gatiss kidnap Peter Davison, I swear.

I want an old school Who fanvid to Something For Kate's Hallways

Edited because the old link doesn't seem to work now.
