Okay, so I'll admit that I found it funny a few months ago when I read a bunch of C&H.
But now... not as much.

I've been busy. Kind of.
My 'Language In Its Social Context' finally ended. I think my exam went fairly well, despite the fact that I barely studied. I think I did better for my exam than I did for my midterm and I studied way less for it. Meh.
Last night I handed in my final project. I literally handed it in the last minute it was due: 8:59pm. It was due 9. xD
To celebrate I stayed up watching The Office until 3.
...
Which lead to me being late for my morning class today.
My ASL class is every week day from 8:30 to 11:30. Getting up early isn't so bad actually. I just need to sleep earlier (which I haven't been doing, and probably should).
The class is really awesome and interesting though.
Our prof is an ASL speaker and we only had interpreters for the first day of class so he can explain the course syllabus. After that it was just us and him.
There's 25 people in the class and it feels more like a tutorial.
We're not allowed to speak in the class and we can only gesture or sign. Although it's 3 hours of silence, there's so much we take in just by watching him.
This is the one class that I haven't dosed off in since university began.
I was super psyched for this class and I'm really satisfied by how things are turning out.
So far, this week we have learned: numbers (up to 20), basic colours, alphabet, asking for names, school related things (types of schools, teacher, students), time (today, 2mrw, weekdays, etc), telling actual time. And few random words here and there.
I'm for sure going to take all the ASL classes York offers. I might go even further actually and perhaps have my future job linked to ASL? I think it'd be cool.

I've been off manga for about a week now. It's not that long but it feels like a long time for me lol. Not that I miss it or anything. Ever since we gave that presentation, I've been watching The Office.
I think I said this already in my last post... Well anyways, I'm currently working my way through Season 3. =D
I love Jim.
He's my favourite. I love his sense of humor and his undying love for Pam. Ahhhh.
I wish I had a guy like that. To have such a long lasting crush on someone. Sigh sigh. <3
There's more series posted on the website I watch The Office on like Gossip Girls and Ugly Betty. I might just watch those too after The Office.

Nothing else is happening I guess. I'm just enjoying my summer with interesting classes, working and chilling with ppl randomly.
I should be working on certain things though like:
- Vinny's painting (before his bday!)
- get rid of my old books
- sell my piano
- clean my room
- fill out/finish my osap (still -_-)
Yeah yeah. I still have a month left before school. I'll be fine.
I'm also somewhat debating if I want a second job once school comes around. The Starbucks on Hightech is hiring. I dunno if I want to apply or not.
My schedule is pretty chilled out. I have 4 classes and one of them is ASL so that means I'll only really have 3 classes which I'll have readings/essays for. My days end at 2:30 which gives me plenty of time to work. I'm pretty sure Hallmark will give me around 16 hours as usual (2 weekdays + saturdays).
I guess I can always try and just ask what their hours are like.
This summer is the first one where I haven't placed work/money as a priority since I've started working. I haven't really been working my ass off like the previous 2 summers. I spend a lot, but am still somehow making enough. I think it's because my original plan was to focus on summer school so that I'll have more time to work during the school year. ... Which means it's either more hours at Hallmark, or get a 2nd job.
Yeah, I suppose I can always just try to apply. It won't hurt.
