Spring is officially here. And there is nothing quite as wonderful as springtime in Paris.
The days linger, with the sun not setting until well after 8pm. Flowers are everywhere, wild daisies grow sporadically, tulips of every color pop up in the town flower beds, and daffodils seem both wild and planted, depending on what flowers surround them. The sun shines hot enough to spend the afternoon in a bikini, reading a book in the backyard, and even getting a little sunburnt! The days are nice enough for picnics in parks, of which Paris has plenty!
I'm so happy to be in Paris right now. I think Le Vésinet is the prettiest town I've ever seen, with all its charming houses and mansions and all the flowerbeds, but I love that I have this week to explore Paris. I might visit a museum or two, but I think the main goal of this week will be to visit as many parks as possible.
I live a wonderful life...it's hard to believe I only have a few months left.
